Although I’m a pretty outgoing person, I’m really an introvert when it comes to my social life. I’ve never had a large circle of friends, and it really has never been a big deal for me. It might be my overactive imagination – I can always find something to do on my own.
I’m one of those people who is always grateful when a party gets canceled or dinner plans with friends get changed. It’s not that I don’t want to see everyone; I just really like to stay home and craft.
I do have one big exception to my dislike of parties – I love a good Link Up Party.
If you haven’t been, a Link Up Party is a great place to share projects, discover new blogs and get some great ideas for your “must make” lists. They are hosted by various bloggers and open and close usually on a weekly basis so you can just about always find one with new links to click through.
As a bonus, many of the hosts of these parties will check through all the links and post a few featured items the next week. These “stars” of the show are usually right on trend with something new and fun.
